When does refinancing make sense?

It can make sense when the monthly savings or other benefits outweigh the closing costs within a time frame that fits how long you plan to keep the home.

What is a streamline refinance?

FHA streamline and VA IRRRL programs let eligible homeowners refinance an existing FHA or VA loan with less paperwork and, in many cases, no appraisal.

Should I do a cash-out refinance or a HELOC?

If you have a low rate you want to keep, a HELOC lets you borrow against your equity without replacing your first mortgage. We can compare both.
